Official Release: Zero Waste Rally
Categories: Blog, News
Dallas, Texas, January 14, 2012 -The Zero Waste Rally will celebrate the support of the community getting behind the transition to a zero waste economy following the lead of progressive cities including Austin, Texas. Gary Liss – who has written more municipal zero waste plans than anyone in the U.S. – will keynote the rally and lead a training workshop on Saturday, January 21, 2012.

Adbongo, Inc. will announce a planned facility which will change the community’s waste streams into revenue streams. End goals of the project include: creation of hundreds of jobs, development or expansion of 20+ businesses, redefinition of the way Dallas processes its waste and institution of cutting edge sustainability practices which will help Dallas become truly sustainable.
Adbongo received a Letter of interest in this project’s initiative from the Office of Economic Development in July, 2011.
Adbongo President John Bush states “At the rally we will celebrate the ignition of an economic fire and an environmental revolution. Many businesses are joining in these plans, and we hope to add many more as the community unites behind the project’s common sense goals. There is room for everyone at this table.”
Founded in 2006 Adbongo started out as an advertising agency that beat to a different drum. In response to needs of clients that were going unfilled Adbongo evolved broader capabilities and now provides a wide spectrum of business development services. Adbongo, Inc. qualified as a B corporation because it is a business incubator that grows social and environmental ventures which use the triple bottom line (people, planet and profit) to measure their success.
All community leaders, business owners, public officials and community members interested in sustainability and good green jobs are encouraged to attend this rally. Zero waste and the planned facility are the future of Dallas, and all are invited to participate in this challenge.
The location for Friday and Saturday is Faith Memorial Church
1914 South Ewing Ave, Dallas, 75216

Dallas Citizens declare support for Zero Waste next Friday!
The message is simple: Zero Waste will breathe life into the community through the development of a major facility to recover our resources that others have thrown away with one of the nation’s leading Zero Waste Advisors. This Zero Waste Rally is to harmonize the efforts of everyone interested in recovering resources from trash in Dallas. Zero Waste will shift waste streams to go through a Zero Waste Facility to transform those resources into streams of revenue and generate hundreds of jobs. This will have a positive impact on the community and become a beacon of guidance to create a sustainable Zero Waste city. How do you breathe life into your community? What can you do to create a sustainable way of life? We want to invite everyone to be part of our business plan. We have room for everyone to be part of this exciting opportunity. We have developed a system that will create an abundance of jobs and enhance humanity. This will be an inspiration to all who attend. Here you will find knowledge and an open opportunity. We will share our letter of interest from the City Economic Development Office for this initiative across from Mccomis Bluff Landfill. Join us to become informed on the plan to create a sustainable ecopark that will provide hundreds of jobs and a strong infrastructure in the South Dallas area.
