The scoop on satellite Earthship office

At the beginning of October, Adbongo’s John Bush tripped down south to tropical storm beleaguered Central America to finalize office plans with celebrity architect and earthship inventor, Michael Reynolds. Adbongo builds earthship in Guatemala

Bush reports that the excursion was a great success. Mr. Reynolds approved the site for earthship construction, which means Adbongo will be building a self-sustaining, recycled materials, off-the-grid building capable of growing food with captured rainwater and greywater.  The crew will be gathering resources and building materials over the next few months, with a construction commencement date of January, 2011. Mr. Reynolds will be bringing his team down to the property in order to train local builders to use his earthship techniques.

Because Adbongo’s Cause Business Incubation services are designed to grow those businesses that are helping the planet or its people, we are particularly excited that this satellite office is on track to be completed within the next six months. We believe integrity dictates that our words (we love green) must match our actions (we are green). This environmentally progressive office will help us to actually live our stated mission.   See photos of progress.
