We call our ecosystem
EDEN (Economic Development Ensuring Nature). Imagine what it looks like: a clean economy built by a network of businesses that complement one another instead of competing to conquer. Across the nation, business ecosystems similar to ours are taking root. Individual businesses are coming together to share a building, bills and supplies. Why? Easy answer- it’s cost effective.
What is Adbongo’s role in EDEN? As the resident clean business accelerator, by providing the eco-system with a “buffet” of turn key business development services, we accelerate things the old fashioned way: selling. Besides providing premium branding and sustainable marketing plans, we are also responsible for facilitating cooperation and collaboration within the system so that each business becomes stronger as a result of
joiningEDEN.We have been practicing business ecosystem management since 2006. This 2009
Austin Business Journal article details one of our ecosystem adventures, that has contributed to the knowledge capital we provide our clients.

Project EDEN is planning A Resource Recovery Parks that would divert waste from cities’ landfills in order to transform it into new products to sell to the public. RR Parks are based on “reuse” which creates 75-250 times more jobs (per 10,000 tons of waste) over recycling! Besides cleaning up communities, our planned parks will also create jobs and natural resources necessary for communities to become more self-sufficient and sustainable.
The concept of our plan is a big pill to swallow. Our past experiences in the entrepreneurial trenches, however, have taught us how to make a resource recovery park (RR Park) scenario profitable. After participating in the development of Austin’s city-wide zero waste plan, learning from the five different ecosystems in which we have participated, and building a small scale closed-loop system, we had the tools we needed to create a skeletal framework for a resource recovery park. We have pitched this plan to multiple municipalities and will continue to do so until Project EDEN parks are operating all across the nation.
Currently, we have several parks in pre-development stages, and we are pleased to announce that the City of Dallas Office of Economic Development has awarded us a Letter of Intent and pledged resources needed to make a Dallas park happen. Our goal is to finalize our design with the cities blessing by January 2012.
