Founded in 2006 as an advertising agency that beat to a different drum, Adbongo has since evolved into a business incubator that grows environmental and social enterprises.  Adbongo does whatever it takes to help our partners take root and flourish.

The first service we provide upon establishing relationships with new clients is to help them implement the triple bottom line approach.  The triple bottom line approach means that, in addition to profit, the companies measure success based on their positive impact on the health of the planet and its people. Other services we provide are based on the needs of the client and often include business strategy, advertising, social media networking and zero waste training.
In addition to growing clients’ individual businesses, Adbongo also organizes our partners into business ecosystems.  Multiple businesses with complementary goals are integrated in a way that makes each company stronger.

 

To reflect the fact that Adbongo is a corporation working for social and environmental change, we officially became a certified “for-benefit” B corporation in November, 2011.  For-benefit enterprises are a relatively new business structure that use the power of business for social and environmental change.

Adbongo is certified as a veteran-owned, minority-owned, HUB (Historically Underutilized Business) and DBE (Disadvanted Business Enterprise) company. All of these certifications give Adbongo a strong advantage over non-certified competitors when potential clients are evaluating proposals for advertising and marketing work. These certifications helped Adbongo win a contract from the City of Austin, and they will give us an edge if we decide to pursue high dollar government or corporate contracts in the future.
